The Mission
Who We Are
CLT Free Reads is dedicated to promoting literacy and providing free access to books for all community members. We love to spread the joy and ease of access of reading. Delivering our creations all around the city, we hope that all people can have ease of access to books whether they are at a park, bus stop, etc.
Our Recent Partnership
In 2023, we partnered with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. Through this partnership, all book boxes now have quicker refill time, donated books, and any maintenance necessary completed much faster than before!
Our short story
Founded in 2022, we are a non-profit organization that allows people located in the Charlotte NC, area to have the ability to read! Currently, we are working on designing and building free libraries to put all around Charlotte! Locations include parks, sports fields, schools, country clubs, and more!
