From a love of woodworking with my dad as a kid, to a love of books from my mom, this idea was a perfect combination of my interests. It is truly special once one opens up my creation that has hours put into it in order to see a fresh stack of pages of knowledge, stories, and more. Books are truly a gift, and they should be available to everyone. This is why through my personal ambition, the funding from my company, and the kindness of local libraries, we were able to come together and start this non-profit organization. I spend 3-5 hours a week driving to fill these boxes, but I still love it and enjoy every second of it! That is, until recently in 2023, when we partnered with Charlotte Mecklenburg Libraries, where volunteers help to drive around and fill the boxes, as well as take in newly donated books.
